EuropaBON project started

The new EuropaBON project funded by the European Commission aims at designing a European Biodiversity Observation Network to inform the EU and other decision-makers about biodiversity change in Europe. The project is led by Professor Henrique Pereira and Dr. Jessica Junker from the Martin Luther University (MLU) in Germany and includes a network of 15 partner institutions from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal and Spain, and including the University of Amsterdam (UvA) from the Netherlands. Associate Professor Daniel Kissling from the UvA BIOMAC lab will be leading the work package which is responsible for delivering the co-design of the monitoring system.
