Vacancy assistant project leader for biodiversity monitoring

Within the NIEBA ARISE project in the Netherlands we have a vacancy for an assistant project leader for the duration of 5 years (based at the University of Amsterdam). This person will assist the project leader (Daniel Kissling) with setting up, coordinating and managing the biodiversity monitoring sites across the Netherlands. The aim of NIEBA ARISE is to deliver a completely unique end-to-end infrastructure for (semi-)automated biodiversity monitoring with specific focus on the near-real-time interpretation of evidence of the occurrence of species (e.g. via camera traps, phenocams, sensors for automatic sound detection, radar systems etc.).
